The Studio’s Journey
Those who are close to me know that pilates — and the reformer machine — is not just a hobby or an interest, but that through pilates I found a path, at a time when no path seemed to exist.
Life isn’t always sunshine and roses, and during times when the abyss felt dangerously close, when I didn’t wake up with joy but with darkness, it was through working with my breath, connecting to my core, and feeling my body fall into place — into its natural alignment — that I found strength. My body, unlike my mind, held an intelligence, a resilience, and an ability to respond. That journey back to myself started there. That’s where I found strength within.
Over time, my pilates practice taught me that I could perform movements my mind never believed were possible. And as I grew, I could do them with more precision, more control, and ultimately with a confidence and strength that no longer left room for doubt.
And my body? The transformation and toning were simply an added bonus.
For me — and for Hollÿ’s Pilates — this isn’t about perfectly posed Instagram pictures. It’s about showing up as you are, with whatever starting point you have, and through movement, feeling and seeing the growth and transformation, both physically and mentally — and reaching your goals.
